Pale Ale's exists in all kinds of varieties, it is not really fair to compare them all side by side, that is not my intention either, I simply just grade how I like them. Some of you may have seen this site when I had a table and standard review/grading system, well, I ditched that, too much work, now I simply just give it a grade and a short review (My personal opinion).
- Otter Creek Brewing Inc, Middlebury, VT. Pale Ale, Bottle, C+ Nice Foam
- Redhook Ale Brewery Inc, Woodinville, WA. ESB Original Ale, Bottle, B+ Very Good
- Sierra Nevada, Chico, CA. Pale Ale, Bottle, A+++, The Best Bottled Beer I know of! (Except Bigfoot)
- Sierra Nevada, Chico, CA. Pale Ale, Drought, B, For some odd reason, this beer is not as great on drought, this is based on several tests, one time I had a half-keg at home as well. So I am not sure why it is only "Very good" in a keg while the bottle is excellent.
