• Sierra Nevada, Chico, CA. 2006 Bigfoot Ale, Bottle, A+++,  The Best Bottled Specialty Beer I know of! Bigfoot is hard to find, it is only made once a year and you have to go to gourmet stores to find it. I did find the 2006 version in Premier Gourmet in Buffalo NY, and boy was I pleased when I tried it. They call it a barley wine, it has almost 10% alcohol (20 proof), so I was afraid it would taste like way too much alcohol and dry with too little hops. But no, they did in fact make the perfect blend of Hops and Barley, as much hopes as you can put in a beer for optimal taste. It is not the kind of beer that I would buy to drink at a football game (Sierra Nevada Pale ale for that!), it is the kind for special momens, relaxation and a cigar, you drink this one two or thre sips at the time, you dont down half of it at once. If you like Hops, try this beer!
Someone sold a single bottle of the 2005 version on ebay for $27, thats bull, wait for season and get a sixpack for less than $15.
